We prayed for over 1,095 days, and we are finally so excited to announce that we are pregnant… with twins.
Amanda's mom must be working overtime in heaven for this blessing. We are so overjoyed and thankful for these miracles.
We cannot thank you all enough for the prayers and support throughout our journey of infertility.
The power of prayer is amazing, and we are so blessed that God chose us to be parents to these little ones.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as I am very sick and it is still early. We look forward to meeting our babies in 2017.
October 8 Update
There’s no doubt that we serve an all-powerful God who has blessed us with a ready-made family. Our precious angels have already stolen our hearts.
Many people do not know that around 7:00 a.m. on May 4, 2016, as Amanda was driving to our doctor for our first pregnancy test, she got the call that her mom had passed away.
Despite the heartbreaking loss of her mother, the family encouraged her to follow through with the appointment with the hope of good news.
At 6:00 p.m. that night, we received more heartbreak. The pregnancy failed.
The only conclusion I can come up with is that Angie wanted to be the first to hold our babies.
I believe without a doubt that these gifts from heaven were, with the help of God, hand picked by Amanda's mom.
